HR Team 

The HR team is responsible for introducing, developing and operating Human Resource management processes and systems within the unit which reflect "best practice". Career opportunities are many and varied with the MRC Social and Public Health Sciences Unit. Please take a look at the current vacancies within the Career Opportunities pages. Our unit is housed within the Glasgow University campus and we are very well resourced, with pleasant offices and gardens. We are very pleased that the MRC Social and Public Health Sciences unit was awarded Investors in People accreditation for the first time in 2005, and re-accredited in 2008.

Finance Team

The Finance Office are responsible for the financial affairs of the Unit. The main duties of the Finance Office include production of annual accounts and monthly reports, assisting in the development of budgetary plans and monitoring and reporting on annual budgets. We also manage the funds from grants awarded by external funders.

Reception

In reception, we hope to give a warm welcome to all visitors to the unit and deal with switchboard enquiries quickly and efficiently.Normal office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. There is an answering machine for calls outside these hours.
