Survey Office

The Survey Office has been an integral part of the Unit since 1986 when it was set up to conduct the first wave of The West of Scotland Twenty-07 Study.

Our remit is to provide a service to all research staff, supporting them in the planning and conducting of primary research and in the administration and processing of collected data. It also provides a contact point for all our respondents taking part in longitudinal studies.

The Survey Office ensures that all aspects of a project from conception through planning, ethics, training, databases, fieldwork, and data processing to final dataset are scheduled and implemented to meet the needs of our research.
