Biography and Interests
Kasia Banas graduated from University College Utrecht in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. She went on to do an MSc in Psychology of Individual Differences at the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc in Social Psychology at the VU University Amsterdam. She joined the Unit in August 2009, and she is involved in preparing a systematic review of welfare-to-work interventions for lone parents.
Kasia’s other research interests include the health consequences of being a victim of discrimination and social exclusion, ways to improve self-regulation, and the benefits of having multiple identities.
