Biography and Interests
Sarah joined the MRC Social and Public Health Sciences Unit as a part-time Investigator Scientist in 2010. She is currently also working towards a PhD in psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. Sarah worked previously for the Higher Education Academy Psychology Network and as a lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland’s Centre for Academic and Professional Development. She has a BA (Hons) and MRes in psychology from the University of Strathclyde and an MSc Health Psychology from the University of Stirling.
Sarah is currently working on a scoping study to assess and map the range of “whole school” approaches addressing multiple adolescent risk behaviours in Scotland. She also has research interests in the psychology of pain, chronic disease and qualitative research methods.
