Jessica Li

Jessica obtained a BA in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2010, graduating cum laude and with departmental honors. She then went on to complete an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics at the University of Manchester in 2011. Her MSc dissertation focused on premarital cohabitation and marital instability in the United States.

While at university, Jessica worked as a legal intern at the American Civil Liberties Union and a coder for the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland.

Jessica joined the SPHSU Sexual Health programme in October 2011 as a Research Assistant to work on the Gay Men’s Sexual Health surveys and the evaluation of the Make Your Position Clear campaign.
