Biography and Interests
Erik joined the SPHSU Ethnicity and Health programme in 2001 as a medical statistician (investigator scientist). He is in charge of the complex longitudinal and multilevel analyses of the DASH study and providing support to apply the methods of dealing with missing data. Erik current work includes examining the ethnic differences in the pace of growth in early life and in blood pressure in adolescence. He is also in charge of the data management of the DASH study.
Erik worked previously at the French National Institute for Transport and Safety Research as a research assistant and then as a research associate where he obtained his PhD in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics (University of LyonI) in 2008. He has also a BSc (Hons) in data management (University of LyonII) and MSc in biostatistics (University of ParisV) and in medical statistics (University of BordeauxII, ISPED).
